Why do I enjoy video games?
Stepping out onto my college campus, I originally went to school for a merchandising degree. I was so incredibly set on being a fashion designer.. but something felt off. Sure, I loved fashion design but from a young age video games have been a very important part of my life. Whether it was just hanging out with my mom playing Tomb Raider or Tetris, or growing up watching my dad play Resident Evil, The Evil Within, the Uncharted franchise, and The Last of Us it was a way to bond with my parents. That’s about around the time I became a Naughty Dog super-fan and fell in love with their games.
It was because of this love of games that I realized that what I initially went to college for wasn’t what would bring me happiness. I remember calling my mom saying I wanted to change majors to Graphic Design and having to explain to her that a huge part of it was all because I had been absolutely intrigued by the feature that allowed you to look into the concept art in Uncharted 4.
Here I am a few years later… with an ambition to fuse my love of design with video games someday.

Battle Casters
For two years I worked with a fantastic game team as I created character art and visual assets for Group 6 Studios’ Battle Casters.

I created art to be used on the cards of Battle Casters, a card-based platform game. These include Ground Smash, Rekindle, and Blazing Aura.

In order to shape out the characters of Battle Casters, the task of world-building was given to the art team.

In 2020 I worked on creating a game concept for a horror game set in the late 1800’s as my final capstone project in undergraduate school.
